Online & Live Classes for Brokers

This 120-hour Broker Pre-Licensing Course was revised in 2008 with all new curriculum and continually updated.  The course has been certified by the Utah Division of Real Estate to satisfy the requirement for broker pre-licensing classes.  Existing agents will increase their knowledge and professionalism as they take their business to the next level and their license to the status of Associate, Branch, or Principal Broker.   Although sales agent pre-licensing class hours are increasing, at present, the broker course will remain a 120-hour course.  Finish your broker requirements while the course is just 120 hours.

$575 for the online broker course includes  textbooks, learning materials and school final exams

$649 for the broker course in all LIVE classes includes textbooks, learning materials and school final exams.

There are several types of broker’s licenses available, depending on an individual’s career goals.  This course will help you achieve any of these broker licenses.  In some cases, you may desire to be an Associate Broker, completing the required number of transactions and the additional education, but continuing to work in a real estate office under the supervision of a branch and principal broker. This title can increase your credibility with potential clients and fellow agents, who understand you’ve attended more classes and closed more transactions and that your commitment to the real estate profession is typically higher than that of the average sales agent.

You may wish to use your broker license to act as a Branch Broker, enabling you to manage a branch office of a real estate firm.

Or you may wish to acquire your license as a Principal Broker, with which you can manage an entire real estate firm for someone else or manage a real estate company of your own.

The applicant for an associate broker/principal broker license must be at least 18 years of age and have a minimum of three years real estate experience and a total of at least 60 experience points accumulated within the five years prior to broker licensing. For more information on experience requirements, consult the experience tables at http://realestate.utah.gov/realestate/real_licensing.html#3 under Real Estate Broker Licensing.

An applicant for a broker license must complete an approved educational program of 120 hours; the subject matter of the course will consist of 45 hours of Broker Principles, 45 hours of Broker Practices, and 30 hours of Utah Law.

According to the Utah Division of Real Estate, up-to-date, well-run schools are essential to the success of real estate in Utah. The Utah Real Estate School, TLG is certified with the Utah Division of Real Estate to provide real estate sales agent and broker prelicensing  and real estate continuing education.

Broker Live Class Course – $789 (Includes Books & School Exams)

Our live class broker pre-licensing course has been certified by the Utah Division of Real Estate and satisfies the requirement for 120 hours of pre-licensing classes. Due to the popularity of our online course and the current economy, it isn’t possible to offer the entire 120 hours in live-class format. However, an existing agent who enrolls in our live-class broker course will take 40 hours of classes online and can take the remaining 80 hours in live classes. The agent will attend a variety of one, two and three-hour live classes with our certified instructors offered in rotation over a six-month period, then take five practice final exams online to prepare the agent for passing the state-licensing exam for brokers. In order to enroll in this course, you must anticipate you will have three years experience as an agent and 60 experience points by the time you finish this course in order to meet the Utah Division of Real Estate requirements for a broker’s license.  Tuition is good for one year.
